Dr. Lina Yu and our team exclusively use domestic dental labs here in the USA. Additionally, about 95% of all our dental cases are fabricated locally in Winter Park! Dr. Yu has developed professional relationships with trusted lab technicians and dental lab managers from her years of experience, even before The Ivory Dental – and these relationships allow us to achieve quality, reliable dental fabrication for our patients. Some of the most skilled dental technicians are here in Winter Park and use an array of computer-aided dental mills, dental furnaces, 3D scanners, and 3D printers. With daily case deliveries and work orders, the local relationship enables us to serve our patients with flexibility, quality, and speed that we wouldn't be able to achieve if sending our dental cases abroad.

Dental Equipment

Our all-new dental equipment also allows us to provide the best care and avoid additional x-ray exposure (significantly lower than traditional wall-mounted equipment). We also use our 3D scanner for all dental cases unless we absolutely need to use a conventional dental impression to avoid the "mouth full" of trays and gels.

From the waiting room to the individual private treatment rooms, our local designer put together a modern yet functional aesthetic for customers and employees to feel calm and relaxed. And it's not just about the things you see but also what is not seen – we've done our best to eliminate harsh lighting and obtrusive dental equipment. For example, when we say "from the ground up," we had the foundation trenched and re-poured to route all possible dental equipment lines underneath the rooms. This minimizes the lights, air hoses, and other bulky equipment that gets in the patient's way.

Every room is also equipped with two televisions to provide some entertainment and a bit of distraction during dental procedures. We use the "Samsung Frame" as our primary television, which adjusts its color and brightness to the ambient light. In addition, our overhead TV mirrors the video being watched, so it's a seamless viewing experience during your entire visit. Bluetooth headphones, aromatherapy eye pillows, and weighted blankets are also available in each room.

Winter Park Dental Office Location

We are currently just a single location, private and dentist-owned business! With many great dentists in this area – we are conveniently located for several surrounding neighborhoods and commutes. We're located within the shopping center of The Grove at Winter Park. When you turn into the shopping center, we are just behind the Wawa gas station and visible directly from the street. Pet Supplies Plus and the Kumon learning center are our neighbors in the plaza.

If you're coming from Winter Park, you will drive east on Aloma Avenue towards the intersection with Howell Branch Road and make a left into the plaza when you see Wawa gas station. Once in the plaza, continue straight – past Wawa – and head towards the stores in the plaza. Then, make a right to continue to the stop sign at Pet Supplies Plus. Once you pass the stop sign, you will see our office on the left.

If you're coming down Howell Branch road (such as from Casselberry or Altamonte Springs), head south towards the intersection of Howell Branch Road and Aloma Avenue. However, you can make an early right turn to enter our shopping center (The Grove at Winter Park) directly before that intersection. Once you turn right into the shopping center, continue past the light on the Sugar and Salon Suites, and you will see our office on the right.

If you're coming from Orlando, Winter Springs, or Oviedo, you will likely be heading west on Aloma Avenue. Head towards the Aloma and Howell Branch intersection – and once you pass the intersection, you can make the first right turn into the plaza. The right turn shares an entrance with the Wawa gas station. Upon completing the right turn, you will see our storefront sign directly ahead.

Please park in any available space near our office. We share parking with our fellow tenants in the shopping center.

Dr. Lina Yu is a local UCF alumnus and, except for her four years in Chicago for dental school, has been a resident of the area for over 15 years.

Through her educational, volunteering, and professional experiences - Dr. Yu developed her philosophy of care around individualized patient treatment. The patient is more than a set of x-rays and a chart, and she makes a point to understand each patient's preferences and concerns.
